What to Know

What follows is important information that you will need to know when we become one bank. As always, we are here to help you.

  • The transition will occur over the weekend of September 3rd. All mBank branches will close after normal business hours on that Friday, and re-open on Tuesday, September 7th as Nicolet National Bank. mBank branches will not be open Saturday, September 4th - Monday, September 6th.
  • Branch hours will remain the same except branch lobbies will be closed on Saturdays. All phone numbers will remain the same.
  • mBank products will be mapped into Nicolet Bank products over the weekend. You should have received a letter for each of your mBank accounts detailing this change. If you did not receive a letter or you have questions, please contact your banker or call us at the number above. We will be happy to help you.
  • In most cases, your account numbers will remain the same after the acquisition. If your account number is changing a banker will contact you directly. There will be no changes to loan terms.

Value Checking Account

We recommend Value Checking for the majority of mBank customers. Our most popular checking account is for customers who want a simple checking account without a monthly maintenance fee. It includes free online banking, bill pay and access to 30,000 fee-free ATMs. Please refer to the letter you received to confirm which type of account is recommended for you upon transfer.

Phone System Conversion Problem

Some of you may know that yesterday, our phone system wasn’t working as planned due to the conversion from mBank to Nicolet. We certainly did not expect this to be the case and find this unacceptable, and frankly embarrassing. It is certainly not the first impression that we wanted to create.

As I tell people internally, assume positive intent with everything because mistakes happen. When they do, apologize and fix them quickly. In this case, we own our actions and our response to the problem that we created. We are working diligently to solve the problem and will not rest until it is fixed.

I humbly apologize. I am confident we will show you how much we care about building relationships and serving your needs by our immediate actions.

Thank you.

Sincerely,
Mike Daniels
